Insurgent- Protagonists and Antagonists

Hi everyone,

For my book report I am reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth, the second book in the Divergent series. The protagonist of this book is Beatrice Prior referred to by her nickname Tris. The antagonist, however, is Jeanine Mathews. Tris is a strong-willed sixteen-year-old girl who hates showing weaknesses. She was born and raised in a faction called Abnegation, but she eventually transfers to the Dauntless. "Tris" is a nickname she gave herself when first arriving to Dauntless hoping for a fresh start.  Her face is narrow, she has grayish-blue eyes that are wide and round, and a long thin nose. She has straight blond hair that frames her face as well as a long neck. Nevertheless, she has a one tattoo of her previous faction on her right shoulder and one of a Dauntless symbol on her right.  Although she is Divergent meaning she is not limited to, exhibit only one of the five traits, her most distinguished one appears to be bravery.  On the other hand, Jeanine Mathews is the Erudite faction leader solely based on her IQ test. Being Erudite her main personality trait is curiosity.  Tris describes her as having a layer of pudge around her middle section and watery gray eyes.
