The Hobbit

Hello,
I am reading the Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I am done with this book. In this book, the setting and place goes on in many places. The setting goes on in mountains, villages, etc. The time is not told but in in my opinion, it goes on in the past because people are with swords and bows. If it was placed in this current time period, then there would be guns and knifes.

The conflict is when they try to to raid the treasure of a dragon called Smaug. The conflict is either man vs man or man vs nature. Man vs man because most of the story is against other people or other things. Nature because animals are a part of nature. The problem is that this dragon is very large and very strong. There is almost no way that Bilbo can take the dragon out by himself.

The most exciting part is also the part where they try and raid the dragon. The reason that they are raiding the dragon is because gandalf the wizard came to take Bilbo on an adventure to raid it. They have many obstacles in the way but they eventually get through them.
