Matched

    HI guys, 
For my book report book i read all 366 pages of Allie Condie's book Matched. Here is  a picture of the book:
Cassie’s main goal throughout the book is to be with Ky without hurting anybody especially her family.  It seems like a very simple goal but she had to go through many obstacles. Some of the obstacles are when the society does not allow them to be together and they are not allowed to go on dates or even meet each other because he was not planned to be her match.  The last obstacle she had to face is when her family had been told that they were going to get moved outside the city to live in the farmland, because Cassie’s mother new too much about how to live without the society by growing your own crops. Her mother figured this out because she is one of the board members so she is in charge of the agriculatriul part. So an official (they are like higher class police men) makes a deal with Cassie that if she tells her what Ky and Cassie did while they spent secret time together in exchange the official will make sure that her family does not get moved to the farmland.  Cassie declined the offer and said that she would never tell them, since they did many illegal things such as learn to write, collect forbidden poems and many other things.  Since the society realized that their threat did not work they threaten her that if she does not stop seeing Ky that they will take Ky away to the border where they are fighting the enemy where he will most likely die. This actually worked in their favor because Cassie planned to go and find him and reunite.
