The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
307/307 pages
Recommendation
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, is an incredible book. It is the book that inspired many other mystery novels to be written. The novel is thrilling, dramatic, and breathtaking. This novel is not easy to read however it is extremely interesting, it contains old english words, that are not used today. The book is a classic and extremely famous mystery book, lots of books, plays, series, and movies are based on it. The language and author's style makes it seems as if you are part of the story, it makes you imagine how London looked in the old days.
I recommend this novel to all of my peers who enjoy reading mysteries and books which challenge the brain to try to solve the mystery, it cause the reader to think. The author provide enough detail so that the reader can follow and attempt to solve the mystery themselves. The book is a compilation of 12 Sherlock Holmes cases, each different and interesting in its own way. The plot in the story is quite complex, and hard to understand because it is split in 12 different cases, however they are all connected they all have the same villain, who is behind the crimes. As you read the book, even though the main character Sherlock Holmes is antisocial and quirky you become connected to him as you read, he is a very interesting character, who is incredibly smart, and if you read it you will marvel at his perspective and the way he solves the cases. The book is filled with action and thrilling moments, the complexity and brilliance of the cases is enough of a reason to read the book.

Everybody can read the book, that is around 11 years or older, because the story is quite complicated and requires thought to understand. Even people who do not like to read, can read this novel because it is divided into 12 short parts, which are manageable to read.
