Ghost Canoe
This book takes place off Washington's storm-tossed Cape Flattery which is half a mile away from the Washington territory and six thousands miles away from China.The cape is on an island in the Atlantic ocean. The island looks very rocky and has sea caves. It also has a desolate beach with mysterious footprints on it and cliffs and a forest. A lot of ship wrecks happen near the island because of the strong wind and waves. This story takes place in the past in 1874.
The conflict of the story is that the main character Nathan is trying to solve a shipwreck mystery. He wants to find out if there were any survivors and what caused the shipwreck to happen. He believes that someone might have planed the shipwreck. He spends his time on the island and in the water searching for clues like a detective who solves mysteries.
