The setting and conflict

The Three of Diamonds
Anthony Horowitz
139/214

The book takes place in somewhere in 2001. First in their office in London, that is where
the case was given to them by the american writer Joe Carter. Then they took
the bus to Fulham, London in a cemetary named Brompton Cememtery to start
off the investigation. This is also where the first clue was retrieved
as well as the second clue. The next setting was the Dream
Time headquarters, which was a few minuter walk from river Thames right above the Cafe debusy.
From the inside Dream time looked very modern and had photos of smiling kids from all over the world
on every wall on the corridor. At the end of the corridor there was an office with the
view of Battersea park and Thames.Next they had gone to Welles road around the back of Battersea park.
From the interveiw with the Dream time workers our private detective had retrived the address of Lenny Smile
which was their next destination on the quest of truth. The main conflict of the book is to find out the truth
behind the suspicious death of Lenny. Why was he dead or if he actually is dead or not. The conflict is externa and man vs. time.
This is because if these guys "the workers" are lying then they could be dangerous
so the faster the detectives find out the truth behind all the more safer they shall be but if not
then the ones sworn to secrecy will and must take certain steps to kill the detectives before the truth is out.
