Clockwork Angel - Setting

Clockwork Angel

Cassandra Clare

The setting of this book happens in Victorian England in a building, where Tessa is kidnapped. This book is happening in the year of 1878. The beginning of this book is around April, because the book was describing the weather of being warm and that for the middle of spring it was unusually resembling summer. After a few pages the book it is six months later and it is already fall, the middle of October. At the middle of October Tessa is kidnapped, because when she escaped and failed,  but when she was outside for the first time in two months at least one minute in the book it says that the skies were gray, that it was really cold and that all of the people were wearing coats.  The room in witch Tessa is forced to stay in is cold, dirty, it had one mattress on the floor and a blanket on the bed. Next to the bed there were two books. The two sisters that were keeping Tessa were generous enough to give her two books per month. In this room the walls were gray and the floor as well. There were also no windows in this room. The hole building was practically the same as Tessa's room was, except the house had a lot of paintings in it and in the sisters room there was a symbol of two snakes biting each others teals.

  1. I like it when you explained the setting and showed the evidence of the setting in the book and when it will say it. By the way, good job on writing the setting.
