This book is about a girl named Angie (Angela) and a boy named Jack. Jack is a player and the longest he has aver gone out with a girl was 2 weeks, until he met Angie. Senior year is over and the summer has started. Jack asks Angie out and they go on a date on a boat. After that they go out every night. They both start thinking about what they will do for collage because she is going to collage in Chicago and he is going back to another state to take over his fathers bakery business. At one point he says he loves her so much, and that when they first started going out he liked her, but every time it got worse and worse. So he proposed to her because he didn't want to live away from her and she started crying on the spot because she wanted to go to collage and he told her not to cry and that he was sorry and he said she did not have to marry him and that made her so happy. In the end of the book she goes off to collage and they promise to stay faithful and love each other and he cannot wait to see her again.
