Marley: A dog like no other

Marley: A dog like no other
John Grogan
208 pages
Protagonist
The protagonist in this non-fiction novel is a dog named Marley. Marley isn't what you call a well-behaved pup. He is a mischievous little Labrador Retriever. His name, Marley, comes from a famous reggae musician Bob Marley. Marley is somewhat like every puppy. At first every puppy might misbehave but their owners are there to correct them. It was like that with Marley but it seemed like he didn't really change after his owners corrected him. He was stubborn and was even kicked out of obedience school.

Antagonist
The antagonist in this book is a man called John Grogan who is also the author of this book. Even though John Grogan was the antagonist, he in reality, is the good guy. He is the one preventing Marley, the protagonist, from misbehaving. So far, he hasn't really found the right way to prevent unwanted behavior. Nonetheless he still loves and learns from him. He was already a father of five but with Marley he turned into a father of six.

Conflict
So far in the book I haven't encountered a main conflict. Nonetheless what I can say is that this book has an ongoing conflict meaning that the "battle" between Marley and John Grogan is happening on a daily basis. This means that it is ongoing. Marly still hasn't figured out a way to listen to John Grogan and not to eat jewelry.
There were no harm words in the book but this word took me a little toime to remember:
Obedience: the state or quality of being obedient.
Marley:
