Non-fiction book I'm reading

Currently, the only non-fiction novel that I am reading is The Giver. The author of this wonderful book is Lois Lowry. Lois Lowry is a two time Newberry medalist and one of those awards she received with The Giver.

Sometimes in books, we ourselves, need to figure out where the book takes place and in The Giver, I believe that was the case. Everything about the setting was described almost perfectly which led to my denouement that they were living in a futuristic Utopian society meaning that essentially everything was perfect. More importantly the writer used the word community when explaining what their location was. She wrote: Lilly nodded again: "When we were Sixes, we went a whole school day with a group of Sixes in their community." on page 8. The word community is really important to the story because it demonstrates how close they are how everything how everything's culminating!

Denouement: the outcome or resolution of something.

Culminating: to reach the highest point. For example: To reach the highest point of excellence.
