Surviving Hitler

The book, Surviving Hitler, a non-fiction story by Andrea Warren, takes place in 1939, in Poland and  in Germany. The time when Hitler came to power. The book is about a jewish boy, who is trying to escape from the Nazis with his family. The family decided to live with other people, because the money got terse. In their dad's friends house, they only got very little amount of food. Jack and his brother had to share one matress. Their sister got to go to her mom's cousins house. They were rich, and they promised that the daughter will always have enough food, and a bed. With time, the food became scarce, the family went to Poland to Jack's grandfather.

But in Poland, the family is being separated, and each family member is brought to different concentration camps. There, nobody gets enough food. It is a fight for survival. Only very few people survived the Nazi death camps.
