I really like this quote because it signifies that Bob and James are now officially a family. He says this after he gets Bob micro chipped and has to fill in details as his owner. At first James was only looking after Bob and getting him better but wanted him to go back on the street because that's what he thought Bob wanted, but, now it really hits him that he is now responsible for Bob and is officially his owner. This part of the book is very memorable to me as well because to me it is like when the book properly starts.
