Lost in London

Lost in London, by Cindy Callaghan, is about a girl named J.J. who goes to London as a foreign exchange student. When she gets there, her host (Caroline) greets her in a very cold manner. The next day, Caroline takes her out to meet her friends and go shopping. They play a game of hide and seek in a huge tower of shops, and J.J. falls asleep in a store called Daphne's. She accidentally sleeps until closing time, and Caroline and her friends think she went home already. J.J. calls them and Caroline comes back for her. They give each other makeovers and take some clothes to wear. They put the money on the desk and try not to get caught by the nightly security guard. That same night, Caroline's enemy finds the footage and threatens to post it online if they don't do his homework after someone robs Daphne's. The thieves are believed to be Caroline and J.J.
