The hound of Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

HI Guys,
This week I have read and finished,  ‘The hound of Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’ all 240 pages of it. Here is a picture of the book:

The protagonist in the book is Sherlock Holmes, and his trusty partner Dr. Watson. The author does not fully describe their physical features. Sherlock Holmes in the book always wears a cape. Dr.Watson smokes a cigar, and they are both middle aged. Sherlock Holmes I think is very caring because he cares about the family of the dictum and he is determined to solve the case. He is smart because he has good general knowledge, good problem solver and he is a risk taker because he is sometimes in very risky situations.  Dr. Watson is also very caring because he is very gentle and kind, smart, loyal because he is always ready to help Sherlock Holmes, he is also very trust worthy and he is a risk taker.

The antagonist is called Mr. Stapleton. There is a very detailed description of him. He is a small, slim, clean shaven a prim faced man. He is  between thirty or forty of age and in this moment of the book he is wearing a grey suit and a straw hat. He is mad, secretive, dangerous, violent, greedy, clever and  cunning. His hobby is catching and collecting butterflies, birds and any other insects.

 Thanx AG
PS. Sorry about the format of the post, it went crazy :D

  2. I really liked your post and I want to know what did Mr. Stapleton do to be the antagonist. I liked it because you explained the main characters very well.
