Book: Fixing old Photographs
Posted by: Luka Ilic

I have read a short book about fixing old photographs and old photography. Because the paper which photographs have been printed had a very low quality, the photographs had been wrinkled or ripped more frequently. So, modern technology has developed and has made a special machine converter which you can scan an old photo and print it again so it looks like a new one. Machinists scan the old photo copy and on the computer delete wrinkles, scratches, burns, rip outs of and photo. After wards they replace it with other fillings, in other words they elaborate the photo more from its first being. When the photo has been the first time made it didn't had to mean that it had bad quality at the first place, over time the quality of the paper will decrease. If you have a computer and a scanner with a printer you can do this at your homes here are the steps
- scan the old photo
-save it on the computer
-enter Photoshop and do the corrections and elaborate the photo
-save it with corrections
-print out the "new" photo
these are all the steps for elaborating an old photo.
here are some images of old photos
