Title: Party Shoes
Author:  Noel Streatfeild
Genre:  Fiction

This week I went back to reading Party Shoes.  I think this week from what I read that I know the characters personalities and attitudes better.   Philip becomes the producer for the children’s pageant.   He is the nephew of the people of own the abbey.  When he was a kid he acted in his own pageants there, know he is visiting while he recovers from his war injuries.  He finds it fun to help the kids since this will be his last chance to be involved with a production held in the abbey theater.  In the chapters I read this week, they rehearsed Phoebe and Christopher’s acts.  Although Phoebe was upset at first about giving up her poem that she had worked so hard to write, but she was happy to have Philip help make here scene better by producing it.  Christopher was glad to give up the responsibility for producing his scene to Philip so he could have fun acting in it and joking around with his friends.  In conclusion, I think the kids are beginning to realize how much work, time, and effort that putting on this pageant will take since it has become something bigger than they had ever imagined.
