Driftwood by Cathy Cassidy

Driftwood by Cathy Cassidy
Pages read: 161 (more or less)
Total pages in the book: 191

Right now many things have happened and need to happen in the book, in this session, Paul is getting bullied and with the help of Hannah he will catch up and feel better. There are touching moments. For example when he talks about his mum, and how he lost her forever. Joey and Kit are still in love, now Joey doesn’t know who to choose, her best friend or her boyfriend.
For now I like this book, if you start reading it you can’t stop. It takes you to be character in the story. I also like this book because it is telling you about things which can really happen in real life.
Paul is still bullied because of the way he looks, Hannah is doing her best to help him out; though he says he doesn’t need her help. Paul is going through hard times though as time passes it looks like he is getting stronger. Paul is trying everything to feel better himself, but t seems not working. Joey and Kit broke – up, but it seems like Hannah and Paul are becoming more than friends!
Passage I liked:
“Well, you know,” Paul teases. “Some people say that seals are the spirits of people who drown at sea, and that they can cast off their skin and take on human form again in the moonlight … ”

  1. This sounds like an interesting book. It sounds like a lot of things are going on. What is its genre?
