MATILDA

MATILDA,by Roald Dahl

All the NORMAL parents keep saying about their children how clever they are or good. But Matilda’s parents differ. Although she is a sensitive and brilliant child her parents ignore her and paying attention only to the 9 years old brother of her.  For to give you an example Matilda asked his father for a book and he said to her that he wouldn’t buy her one and that it is preferred to watch TV than wasting her time by reading. So one evening that her mother was with some other ladies to play bingo, her father was at work and her brother at school she decided to go alone to the library, which was close to her house. So she did every evening. Can you imagine the librarian, each evening she had a four years old girl sitting in the back of the library each day with a different book reading and reading and reading. But her age wasn’t an obstacle for her, she wanted to travel around the world, so she did by reading books.
Because of not letting her read Matilda, found a punish for her dad: she put supper glue into his hat. So one day when Mr. Wormwood was ready for his work, he put on his amazing hat and then was when the glue acted. Poor mister Wormwood he had to stay with his hat two days when the mom came and cut his hair, with the hat. So he had a new haircut! Because her parents weren’t intelligent and honorable she said, “ I will punish them each time they are beastly to me”. So she did but the rest of the story you will explore it later.
