The Hound of the Baskervilles #2

The Hound of the Baskervilles
Arthur Conan Doyle
16/133

Time: August-September, 1889
The story takes place in August, because Dr Mortimer said Sir Charles Baskerville died some three months ago and he gave Sherlock an article of May 14th about Sir Charles Baskerville's death few days after the date. Some three month after May would be August-September. The year would be exactly 1889 because Dr Mortimer left Charing Cross Hospital (CCH) five years ago and his staff from the friends of the CCH was given to him in 1884. Year 1884 plus five years is 1889 which is the current year in the story.
Weather: Foggy
The weather of recent days in the story might be foggy because Dr Mortimer said the night was damp and raw but not raining.
Place: The story so far is taking place at Sherlock Holmes's house, 221b Baker Street. The mood of the story is very serious because they are discussing the facts about the case.
