Vanishing Girl

Vanishing Girl
Written by: Shane Peacock
(The boy Sherlock Holmes and his 3rd case)

The book Vanishing girl, has 307 pages, and I read 40. This book is a mystery and is very interesting. It is about a girl, her name is Victoria and her parents are wealthy people. Her father is a very important man in London, and he is very strict about affairs, mafia. Victoria gets out of her carriage in Hyde park in London. She wants to be seen in front of all of these wealthy people. Her newest dress and shoes just have to be seen. All of a sudden somebody calls her, and takes her away. At that moment nobody realized, but then it all got alarmed and the coachman got out to look for her. Next morning it was in the newspapers. Sherlock Holmes was reading the news and really wanted to help out this case, since he solved other very important cases before. In Victoria's family they do worry, but in public they stay strong. Her father stays silent about the news, and acts like nothing happened. He still goes doing his job normally as always. When he gets the offer, he does not answer it, and doesn't say it to the public. For now people mostly think she is alive. For now this is everything I read and I really like it.

  1. I liked how you explained what is going on in the book. Vanishing girl sounds like a great mystery book and I would love to read it someday.
