So the setting is in Jackson, Missisippi, 1962. Where black maids raised white children and cleaned the house. But they are not trusted with white peoples silver and are not allowed to use there bathrooms. Aibileen is a black women who is now raising her seventeenth white child. Her boss is very mean and doesent even care for her daughter. Minny well lets say she likes to say what she thinks she has gottonfired but has been hired again. Her boss is making Minny work for her but her husband doesen't know that she is hiring her, so Minny has to be carful. Skeeter is a white lady who is very interested in writing. She starts working for the newspaper but she wants to find more. She wants to find the truth of what the black maids think. Will they be able to make a difference and show the truth? read this book and you will see!
