Hercule Poirot's Christmas, By Agatha Christie
For My mystery novel book report, I concluded I would read a Mystery Novel by Agatha Christie.
As I was Browsing through the books I found a book the seemed interesting. The name of this
book is, "Hercule Poirot's Christmas" by Agatha Christie. I began to read, and I am currently at page
58 of 334. So far I have found that Agatha Christie is very descriptive when it comes to
describing her characters. The reason I know that s because I am currently at page 57, and the
crime hasn't been committed. But since Agatha Christie, is still describing the suspects/characters,
I feel I am being given a very strong understanding of the characters, and what any possible
motives may be. While I was reading though I came across an interesting word. This word was on page
5, and the word was "Rollicking". This word was used in the sentence, "That bold arrogant jaw, the high bridged nose, The rollicking eye". I have recently looked up the definition of this word, and the definition was something carefree, and joyous. That is All I can say, and have read so far but I will attempt to continue these blogs for the next following weeks.
