Invincible Louisa by Cornelia Meigs

Hi guys, I'm still reading the book Invincible Louisa by Cornelia Meigs, and I am on page 55/195. The book hasn't really changed since the last blog I made. The pictures on the right side of this page are Louisa's parents (top-Abba May Alcott) (bottom-Amos Bronson Alcott).
Louisa's father, Bronson owned a school for a short period of time, but then had to give it up due to him letting different colored children in the school. So the parents decided to take their kids away from the school, and then it was forced to be closed down. Louisa's mother's great aunt was a legend, her name was Madame Dorthy Quicy Scott, but liked when people called her by her first famous husbands name of Hancock, she goes by Aunt Hancock. They also had to move again to Massachusetts. There are lots more things that re going to happen from what I can tell, and it will be very hard and interesting for Louisa and her family.
Well, that's all for now. :)

  1. cool! I really hope you are enjoying this book. In the book im reading the main character's father is going to have to close the school because poorer people are joining and are in it. Similar to your story... I love the way you wrote the post and hoping the book gets more exiting and interesting!
