If the story took place in a different setting it would change the climate, the way the people speak, names, etc. If I could travel to the setting, I would because I've never been to Ireland. I would like to see what its like there.
Good, I'd really like to read Skulduggery Pleasant. I think maybe you could have added more description, and answered all of the questions. I would very much like to know more about your book!
