The Winter Ghosts setting Jakub

Setting- The setting of the story is the snowy mountains and hills of France. In the setting the there is snow and there are smaller mountains and some cliffs. The climate is not necessarily snow because in the book its winters but in summer there could be no snow.

If this book took place in a different setting the book would be very different because many things in the book depend on the setting. Like the escape to the caves and the travels of Freddie through the mountains to get to civilization. If the setting took place in the desert for example they could not hid in caves.

No, I would not travel to that place because there is a lot of steep mountains that I could slip on and the climate is harsh for me.

Quote - "When did it start snowing? 'In the early hours,"

  1. I think this was a very good explanation of the setting because it included just enough detail so that it wasn't boring to read and was very clear. The quote didn't really explain the setting to me a whole lot so he maybe should have added a short explanation as well. Overall I think it was very good :)
